🔹 According to IRNA, Gadi Eisenkot, with the support of 67 Knesset representatives against 46 Netanyahu supporters, is the leading choice to receive the task of forming the cabinet. Yitzhak Herzog is expected to hand over this task to him on Sunday.
The flexibility of some of Eisenkot's allies regarding cooperation with ultra-orthodox and Arab parties increased the possibility of forming a cabinet headed by him; However, the coalition's final agreement is still uncertain and Netanyahu's return to power cannot be ruled out.
