The share of health in GDP is 4.5%/ Mandatory pricing is a serious challenge for medical services.
In a statement that the share of health in the country should be proportional to its position in the economy and to the average of the countries in the region, the head of the medical system organization said: while the expected share for health is about 8 percent, this amount in Israel has now reached less than 4.5 percent, and this reduction indicates its effects in different areas of the health system.
