The director general for crisis management of Samnan Governorate announced the entry of runoff caused by heavy rain into parts of the University of Medical Sciences and the industrial town of this city and said: The runoff in the area of this university caused the flooding of underground facilities, classrooms and laboratories, and water evacuation operations and preventive measures to protect sensitive equipment were immediately on the agenda.
🔹 Mustafa Khatami, who noted that parts of municipal facilities in Darjeezin were also damaged due to the flow of the flood, said: In the city of Darjeezin in the city of Mahdishaher, the flood caused flooding of the entrance bridge to the city and the main axis, and a car was also damaged in this incident, 2 of its occupants were taken to a medical center and were slightly injured. The CEO of the Red Crescent Society of Samnan also announced: 20 citizens who were affected by floods in the industrial town and the University of Medical Sciences in the eastern region of the city of Samnan received relief.
