A request to investigate the remorse of Said A., the accused in the "Khan Habarat" case.
Syed Ali Kazmi, spokesman for the judiciary:
🔹 Said Alef, the accused in the case known as the "House of Terror", submitted a request to review his repentance before carrying out the death sentence.
This case is related to the year 1401. Said-Alf and her sister rented a house on Kazwin Street and turned it into a place to house homeless women, runaways or drug addicts, but these people were abused and exploited.
After the neighbors reported and the discovery of a woman's body in this house, a court case was filed. Said Alef was sentenced to death on the charge of revenge murder and on the charge of rape. His sister was also sentenced to prison for being an accomplice.
Due to the fact that the parents did not apply for the execution of the retributive sentence, the judicial system continued with the execution of the death sentence. But the accused asked to check his repentance. Referring to section 542 of the Criminal Procedure Law, the spokesman for the judiciary said: Before the sentence is carried out, the accused has one opportunity to submit a request for repentance. The relevant committee has two months to check and announce the result.
The legal proceedings in the case will continue after the publication of the committee's opinion.
