Dealing with assassination is a shared responsibility.

Dealing with assassination is a shared responsibility.

Zahra Bharoz Azar, Vice President for Women and Family Affairs:

Today we all have a shared responsibility; The responsibility to confront the assassination, support the victims and prevent the recurrence of such an event.

This responsibility is doubly important for us in the government as well as for all those active and influential in international institutions, the media, educational institutions and the artistic community; Because the safety of children and their immunity is not an issue related to nation and geography, but is part of the shared responsibility of the global community.

🔹 We stand against the assassination; In deep sorrow for the precious life we lost; All the lives taken from us all these years in the name of the imposed war; In anger and disgust at the crime committed against our innocent children and with strong intentions to hold the perpetrators of this crime accountable to the law and justice. 🔹 We defend our nation's right to enjoy security, the sanctity of our children's lives and their right to a safe and hopeful future.

One of the most important ways to keep that memory alive is through art. Art can express what sometimes does not fit in the language of reports and documents, in the language of human feeling and experience.

From this perspective, music is not just a collection of songs and sounds, but a language that can transform sadness into empathy, memory into awareness, and silence into recollection.
