Incident of a tanker hitting east of the Strait of Hormuz.
navy:.
An oil tanker in the forbidden and unsecured area east of the Strait of Hormuz had an accident and caught fire after hitting a naval mine. This tanker has turned off its navigation systems.
Oil tanker owners should take a lesson from the fate of offending vessels intending to pass through restricted areas by turning off their detection systems, because the consequences of uncoordinated movement in high risk areas are collisions with sea mines and fires.
