Uzbekistan seeks to create a balance between great powers and reduce dependence.
National interest: By expanding economic and security cooperation with Russia, developing trade relations with China and attracting investment and technology from America and Turkey, Uzbekistan tries to reduce its dependence on each of them and strengthen its regional position in Central Asia while benefiting from the competition of great powers.
