Pajeshkian: The government's goal is to lower the level of inflation and the cost of living in border districts and areas deprived of Tehran.
At the meeting of the Government Information Council, referring to the consultations held with the Mustafan Foundation and the Besij organization, the President called for cooperation and the provision of implementation solutions for the discounting of basic goods in disadvantaged areas and emphasized that this issue should go beyond the planning level and reach the implementation stage.
The public resources of the country belong to the people and should not be distributed equally and regardless of the level of income and the needs of the households.
It is unacceptable that the country's water, electricity and gas are given to the eligible as a subsidy, but the needy households do not have enough support. At least it should be prevented from paying subsidies to those who do not need them, and direct the resulting resources to support low-income groups.
