In Iran, the population of people with disabilities is estimated at about 9 million and 800 thousand, equivalent to 11.5% of the country's population, and about 1 million and 600 thousand of them are covered by the welfare organization in the country.
🔹 Based on the estimates, about 82% of the sections of the Law on the Protection of the Disabled are functioning, and 18% of them still require monitoring.
