Foreign Office statement regarding Iran's countermeasures against the UK government's illegal and hostile actions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while condemning the anti-Iranian policies and actions of the British government, which go against the principles of the United Nations Charter and international law, and especially the principle of respecting national sovereignty and the prohibition of taking illegal measures against other countries, emphasizes the determination of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to protect the security interests of Iran.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, citing the decision of the Supreme National Security Council of the country, in response to the recent hostile actions of the British government against the Islamic Republic of Iran, including participation in the American-Israeli war imposed against Iran through the provision of bases and military and logistical facilities located in the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom as well as in the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom as well as in the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom.
