Iraqichi: The memory and name of Dr. Firouz Mojatadezadeh will remain in the scientific memory of Iran.

Seyed Abbas Iraqi, the foreign minister of our country, wrote in a message for the live memorial service of Dr. Firouz Mujatadzada:

One of the most prominent aspects of the scientific activity of the late professor was his extensive and documented research on the Persian Gulf and the historical and legal status of the Iranian islands of Abu Musa, Tunb Bozor and Tunb Kokos. Using historical documents, geographical maps and reliable sources, he tried to explain the various aspects of these issues in scientific meetings and international arenas. His valuable works in this field, including the studies related to Iran's sovereignty over the three islands, are considered a permanent part of the educational heritage of the political geography of Iran and show his attention to the relationship between knowledge, scientific responsibility and safeguarding the country's national interests.

Of course, the importance of the scientific career of Dr. Mojathadzadeh is not limited to studies of the Persian Gulf. His research on the formation and transformation of Iran's borders, the historical and political developments of the region, the relationship between geography and power, and the theoretical foundations of political geography and geopolitics, opened diverse horizons for researchers and students. His works on the eastern borders of Iran, the historical developments of the region and the relationship between geography and politics also showed a continuous scientific effort in which the accurate knowledge of the past was combined with a realistic analysis of contemporary issues.

Along with this scientific heritage, Dr. Mojatadezadeh's deep attachment to Iran and its history and civilization was one of the most prominent features of his personality and intellectual profession. During his activity he followed the issues related to the historical identity of Iran, the name of the Persian Gulf and the national interests of the country from a research point of view and relying on historical and geographical arguments. Utilizing the academic capacity and the scientific forum to present his views in international circles was also part of this ongoing effort; An effort that emphasized the importance of knowledge, documentation and logic in explaining national and regional issues. 🔹 The memory and name of Dr. Firouz Mojatadezda will remain in the scientific memory of Iran; his research legacy will be passed on and his efforts over several decades on the way to understanding the history, geography and position of Iran will continue to be worthy of study, reflection and benefit for future generations.
