France deploys 70,000 security forces on the streets.
🔹 French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez announced the deployment of 70,000 security forces to secure the gatherings on Saturday, October 31. Referring to calls by some groups for violent gatherings on Halloween night, he described the day as "very dangerous" for public order.
The labor leaders and the students demanded the continuation of the interceptions on Saturday and a national strike on November 5. According to them, the dissatisfaction with the salary, cost of living and public services went beyond the initial student movement.
