The 8th summit of the Assembly of Gas Exporting Countries was held in Moscow with the active presence of a Salami delegation of Iran headed by President Massoud Pazhkian.
At this meeting, the thought and strategy of Mr. Neharg Iran in establishing this forum was read with the speech of our country's president and Massoud Pazhkian emphasized: US military interventions in the Persian Gulf region endangered the energy market and the economic growth of the world.
The President said: The Islamic Republic of Iran declares its willingness to play a more active role in promoting multilateral diplomacy within the forum.
Holding the ministerial meeting and the 8th summit in Moscow became an opportunity to strengthen Iran's energy diplomacy and pursue the country's interests within the framework of multilateral cooperation.
