Meeting between the Presidents of Iran and Russia Dr. Masoud Al-Badjikian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, met with each other on the sidelines of the summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum and discussed the latest developments in bilateral relations and ways to strengthen joint cooperation. In this meeting, both sides, while examining the existing capabilities for developing relations between Tehran and Moscow, emphasized the necessity of expanding cooperation in various political, economic and commercial fields. Energy cooperation, developing interactions in the oil and gas sector, increasing economic exchanges and using mutual capabilities to promote joint projects were among the areas of focus in the talks between the presidents of Iran and Russia.
