Emir of Qatar meeting with Dr. Pazeshkian/emphasis on strengthening bilateral relations and developing cooperation in the field of energy.
Masoud Pazhkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar, met on the sidelines of the 8th Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum in Russia and discussed ways to develop bilateral relations and strengthen joint cooperation in the field of energy.
In this meeting, while reviewing the latest state of relations between Tehran and Doha, the parties emphasized the importance of expanding political and economic relations and using existing capabilities to improve the level of bilateral cooperation.
Cooperation in the field of energy, the development of economic and commercial interactions and the strengthening of coordination between gas exporting countries were among the focal points of interest at this meeting.
