Energy Diplomacy in the Moscow Passage; Iran wants to strengthen the multilateral system.
Mina Mozhar Turk - IRNA reporter.
The 8th summit of the Assembly of Gas Exporting Countries will be held in Moscow in a situation where the increase in geopolitical tensions, the insecurity of energy transmission routes and the increase in the costs of transportation and shipping insurance have emphasized more than before the need for cooperation between gas producers and exporters.
Geopolitical developments in recent years face the global energy market with new challenges. The difficulty of moving oil tankers and ships carrying liquefied natural gas (LNG) through the Strait of Hormuz following the military aggression of the United States and Israel and the increase in transportation and shipping insurance costs put pressure on the energy supply chain and spread its effects beyond the Middle East region to the entire world.
