Japan's former prime minister and the face of Asian diplomacy has died.

Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party announced Monday that Yasuo Fukuda, the East Asian country's former prime minister who worked to improve and stabilize relations between Tokyo and Beijing and Asia as a whole, has died of heart failure in Tokyo at the age of 90.
