Keihan Barzger stated on IRNA's "Diplomacy Table" program:
The Tehran meeting emphasizes the ultimate role of diplomacy in solving regional issues/Iran should be proposing, not just reacting.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the Department of Science and Research of Salmi Azad University said:
The meeting in Tehran shows that the countries of the region feel that Iran has an important place in the region and that diplomacy is still the final solution. More use of force or military operations could make the situation very serious and it is the countries of the region that suffer from such a situation; Especially the Arab countries at the southern end of the Persian Gulf, which suffered the greatest economic, security and political damage in recent wars.
🔹 The area really tends to establish stability. Relying on the solutions of great powers, especially America, does not necessarily lead to stability. Perhaps this view differs from the traditional view of some countries in the region; They thought that America's presence would bring them more security, but these wars showed that America's presence not only creates security, but also endangers the security of those countries. Therefore, in order to achieve stable stability, it is necessary to reduce tensions and prepare the ground for permanent peace. These countries are also trying in the same direction.
🔹 The presence of security officials on this trip shows that the issue can be investigated from a security point of view. including how much these countries feel the imminent danger and why they think it should be prevented. The increase in tensions will include all the countries of the region.
In my opinion, Iran's recent actions and emphasis on regional security integration, including the position that any ground attack will be met with Iran's severe response, have not been ineffective in informing these countries. These developments have shown them that they need to engage in diplomatic dialogue and interaction with Iran, and if there are specific views on these issues, they should reconsider them or at least adopt a more balanced approach.
