Bekai: Iran and Iraq are seriously pursuing border issues.

🔹 The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the latest status of the Iran-Iraq borders and some claims of the Iraqi authorities regarding Iran said:

🔹 In relation to the borders of Iran and Pakistan, the Pakistani authorities announced from the beginning that the issue is technical and updates must be made in the relevant systems. They also raised security concerns. Of course, we also heard that several cases of elimination were planned or on the verge of happening.

🔹 Our consultations with Pakistan continue and the negotiation process is positive. We hope that the technical issues raised by the Pakistani side will be completely resolved as soon as possible.

Regarding Iraq, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad and our consulates in this country are seriously following the matter. Iraqi officials also mentioned American pressure.
