Mohsen Rastani, a documentary photographer and socialite of Iran, was born on January 6, 1337 in Hormashhar. During his career he photographed the Iran-Iraq war and the lives of people in Iran and countries such as Lebanon, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Armenia. The series "Iranian Family" was one of his most important projects, documenting the face and the different social groups of Iran.

Rastani has worked as a photographer for the IRNA news agency since the end of 1363. The following photos are a selection of his works during his career at IRNA. He died on Sunday morning, November 3, 1405, after a period of illness.
