French intercepts; Signs of increasing economic and political crises in Europe.
Muhammad Reza Salmi - IRNA reporter
🔹Michael Fruman, head of the think tank of the American Council on Foreign Relations, warned in an analysis that the French interceptions, the public debt crisis and the reduction of Washington's credibility exposed the structural weaknesses of Europe and made the need for economic reforms and strengthening the strategic independence of this continent even more prominent.
Froman wrote: It seems that what we are witnessing in recent weeks has a fundamentally different character. The root of these interceptions must be sought in the fundamental collapse of the social contract in France. The government has failed to invest effectively in the education system, is spending an increasing portion of its financial resources on pension payments to retirees, and is relying on a smaller and smaller population of young workers to cover these costs.
