Irakichi: Harazi was killed. He thought about the country, the system and the people until the last moment.
๐น Seyed Abbas Irakchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, in the second part of the specialized panel "The role of the killed Harazi in building a foreign policy consensus" said:
๐น I spoke with Dr. Harazi on the phone the day before he was killed. It was the last days of the war and our negotiations were ongoing. In those days I was regularly in contact with Mr. Tahari and inquired about his physical condition.
๐น The day before the holy day, Mr. Tahri called me and said that Mr. Doctor's condition had improved a little and I could talk to him on the phone. After the call was made, thankfully, his voice was very lively and it was clear that he was feeling better.
๐น After greeting, he asked about negotiations and gave me some instructions in the same situation. In particular, they recalled the report we previously prepared together in the Strategic Council for Foreign Relations on a specific issue and said: "Do you remember that time we wrote a report together in the Strategic Council? Be sure to read it one more time; It has points that will be useful in the current negotiations."
๐น I thanked them and said that I would definitely do so and now that their situation has improved, I will come to their service for a face-to-face meeting and to provide a more detailed report on the negotiation process.
๐น Unfortunately, the next day, the news came that he was tortured. This memory clearly shows that until the last moments of his life, even in severe illness and in the last days of the war, he still cared about the country, the system and the people, and seriously followed the issues of the state and the negotiation process.
