Zarif: Neharag Harazi attached great importance to the history of diplomatic relations and the history of the country's foreign relations.
๐น The former foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, said in the second part of the specialized panel "The role of the slain Harazi in building a foreign policy consensus".
๐น My last memory of killing Dr. Harazi is also related to this topic. He usually invited me on weekends, either during or after my service, whenever he had work, and I went to his house. Unfortunately, the same house where he was killed.
๐น At our last meeting, he gave me some documents, which were my notes from the negotiations with the UN regarding the implementation of Article 6 of Resolution 598. At that time, the negotiations were very serious and the notes I took were related to meetings and discussions in which I myself participated. Neharg Harazi asked me to go to their house and read them these notes; Because my handwriting was hard to read. I also went and read them the notes.
๐น This memory shows what an important action Mr. Iraqi did by calling the document center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after the name of the slain man. Dr. Harazi attached great importance to the history of diplomatic relations and the history of the country's foreign relations. Mr. Dr. Assifi and Mr. Dr. Ahani also know how many books and works they wrote about the memories of their ministry and embassy days; Maybe 10 to 12 volumes.
๐น He compiled the memories of his time at the embassy and wanted these notes from me to remain in the records of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Their purpose was not only to make these materials public; Instead, they wanted these precious memories to be recorded and preserved in the Foreign Office documents.
Therefore, the action of Dr. Iraqi and Dr. Khatibzadeh in reading the document center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the name of killing Harazi is a very valuable action. Here, I feel the need to mention our dear brother, Mr. Sadegh Harazi; He played an important role in establishing this center. Neharg Harazi was one of the founders of the document center and he himself attached great value to documents and the history of diplomacy.
The amazing thing is that even two weeks before his martyrdom, he was still correcting and completing the notes and memories from his embassy days so that they could prepare these valuable and instructive materials for the young diplomats of our country.
๐น Again, I pray that they will rise from God's door and hope that we too can follow their path and their character and reach a happy ending like them.
