Formohammadi: If a household does not follow the gas consumption pattern, we must fine it.
We are gradually entering the cold season of the year, one of the areas in which the country is facing challenges is the gas sector, and I humbly ask the people to help us not to face problems.
This year we will face a cold year, on the other hand, we are facing a shortage of gas, and in the last war some of the gas production facilities were destroyed.
If we do not pay attention to gas consumption from now on, some districts may encounter problems with gas supply. If we reduce gas consumption by 10%, we can overcome this year's cold weather.
If a household does not follow the gas consumption pattern, we must fine it.
If gas pressure drops, a city's gas may be cut off, not just one or two residential units.
Fortunately, with the help of our colleagues at the Ministry of Petroleum and especially at the National Gas Company, some of the damage caused to the gas facilities in the war returned to the production cycle. With the planning of the government and also the cooperation of the people, the growth rate of the large consumption of energy issues was not only controlled but also turned to the negative side. Until last year we imported 1.5 billion dollars of diesel fuel, or for example, the 7% growth in gasoline consumption stopped and turned negative.
