Pourmohammadi: Update of the preferred drug currency and change of referral system; Two priorities in the health budget.

Every year the government allocates about 3 billion dollars of preferred currency to the field of health and care.

However, the increase in treatment costs and the share of paying patients raised the need to examine the mechanism of allocating these resources.

Reforming the system of referrals, reducing unnecessary treatment costs and directing government support to the main beneficiaries are among the axes being considered in next year's budget.

The purpose of this work is to increase the effectiveness of health resources and reduce the pressure of care costs on people.
