Western media reported that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz forced Qatar's energy company to enter into negotiations with an American energy company to purchase liquefied natural gas in order to meet the needs of its customers.

🔹 According to IRNA, citing the Reuters news agency, three knowledgeable sources without mentioning their names announced that the company "Qatar Energy" is negotiating with "Woodside Energy" for the annual purchase of up to three million tons of liquefied natural gas from the project built by this company in Louisiana, USA.
