Anthony Taiani, Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, called the arrest of five Italian activists by Israel unacceptable and demanded their immediate release.

According to IRNA, citing the "Ansa" news agency, these five Italian operatives were arrested by Israeli forces on Thursday in the village of "Al-Boaib" located in the West Bank, when they were accompanying Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest.
