Hemati in an interview with Bloomberg:

Iran has the necessary reserves to supply the required imports to the country until the end of Trump's term.

The Governor General of the Central Bank wrote on his Telegram channel:

Last week, on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, I had a televised interview with a Bloomberg reporter. Important points I expressed and emphasized in this interview:

Inflation in Iran, which accelerated after the 40-day war, decreased in the three months leading up to the conflict.

The two main reasons for the rapid acceleration of inflation in the spring in the real sector were the supply shock and damage to infrastructure and industrial units, some of which returned to production, and the other was inflationary expectations in the demand sector, which were partly controlled by the monetary tools of the central bank. The Americans promised the economic collapse of Iran within two weeks with the economic exclusion operation and the tightening of the blockade ring against Iran, but despite the heavy economic pressure on the people, they did not succeed in their main goal, and this showed that this idea is nothing but an illusion. I also raised this in my speech to the central bank governors of the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia.

In response to what you will do with the reduction of oil revenues, I emphasized that in the real sector oil does not have a large share in the real budget, and the government is determined to cover the budget deficit through other real sources, such as the sale of assets and necessary reforms in the energy sector and the export of oil products.

In response to the question of the amount of reserves of the central bank, I said that our reserves are in good condition and you can be sure that we will be able to supply the country's imports until the end of Trump's term and even more! As for the way to compensate for the reduction in people's purchasing power, I emphasized the provision of vouchers to the people, as well as the gradual increase of the Rial amount for low-income households.
