🔹Kazakhstan and the Republic of Azerbaijan are trying to increase the transport capacity of the transit route of the Middle Corridor by developing the naval fleet, renovating ports and expanding cooperation in the shipbuilding industry.

According to IRNA's report on Thursday from the Kazinform news agency, the volume of goods traffic on the international Transnakhzar route, which connects China to Europe through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, increased from 800,000 tons to 4.5 million tons in five years. Also, in the first nine months of 2026, the amount of traffic on this route increased by 30% and the transfer of containers from China to the West increased by 64%.
