Russia and Belarus are holding a joint exercise "Union Shield 2027".

The defense ministries of Russia and Belarus have approved the general plan of the joint operation exercise "Alliance Shield 2027". The Minister of Defense of Belarus announced that the purpose of this exercise is to demonstrate the strength of the two countries to defend their sovereignty and territorial integrity.

🔹 Russia's defense minister also expressed concern about the deterioration of the international situation and accused NATO of strengthening its military presence near the borders of the two countries and practicing attack scenarios.
