Navia Berri: Internal unity is Lebanon's only weapon to defend the country.

Emphasizing the necessity of strengthening national unity and avoiding tensions between the factions, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament saw internal unity as the country's only weapon for self-defense and demanded compliance with the Taif Agreement and Security Council Resolution 1701 and the continued presence of UNIFIL forces in southern Lebanon.

According to IRNA's report on Thursday, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabia Berri, said in an interview with the "Al-Jumhoriya" newspaper: Lebanon in the current situation needs steps to unify the Lebanese more than ever, and their unity is the way to save the country in this situation.
