🔹 Abbas Ali Kadkodi, head of the Guardian Council's Research Institute, said at a gathering of Iraqi academics: The Salami Republic is based on religious foundations and the presence and participation of the people, and the sixth principle of the constitution emphasizes the management of the state by relying on the public's votes.

🔹 He saw the Velayat-e-Faqih and the Guardianship Council as guarantors of the religious foundations of the system and listed the Majles, the Presidency, the Majles of Experts and the Councils as expressions of people's participation in the political structure of the country.
