🔹 The use of regional capacity and district diplomacy has been one of the important priorities of the government in the last two years and has resulted in very positive results in the field of relations between the neighboring districts. Accordingly, during the visits of the President and the Minister of the Interior to the neighboring countries, the governors of the neighboring provinces are also present as members of the official delegation in order to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the provinces. In addition to the border districts, several deep districts of the country were also active in this field.

The recent visits of the Minister of the Interior to the Republic of Azerbaijan and Qatar were also held at the official invitation of these two countries. Since the ministries of state in the neighboring countries are responsible for important areas of responsibility such as exchange of borders, prevention of smuggling, fight against drugs and assassination and coordination between the military forces of the two sides, these trips provided an opportunity to update understandings, operate joint committees and follow up on matters effectively.

For example, during the trip to Qatar, following the discussions brought up by the president, a delegation led by Dr. Porjamshidian (Secretary of the National Security Council) was appointed for ongoing monitoring of the understandings. Also, very serious negotiations were conducted regarding the unknown fate of the beloved pilots of our country.

🔹 Although an explanation was given in this regard, the Minister of the Interior considered this insufficient and requested to send to Qatar a delegation consisting of the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant parties in order to clarify the issue definitively. 🔹 The General Staff also considers the information provided by Qatar to be insufficient and unsatisfactory; although this issue is within the scope of the duties of the General Staff and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of the Interior has also taken extremely serious measures in this matter.
