The UN warning about the food crisis facing 19 million Afghans.

🔹 The United Nations has predicted that 19.2 million people in Afghanistan will face severe food insecurity this winter; of these, five million people will be at an emergency level of hunger, just one step before starvation.

Estimates show that next year more than four million children under the age of five will need treatment for acute malnutrition. At the same time, the reduction of the budget caused about a third of the food supply centers in Afghanistan to close or stop their services.
