Nozer Shafi: The military strength allows our diplomacy to maneuver more in relations with China

On Monday, October 27, at the international conference on half a century of diplomatic relations between Iran and the People's Republic of China, Nozer Shafei, a member of the faculty of the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Tehran University, said:

China's partnership with Iran is called a "low quality comprehensive strategic partnership". Why is Iran's strategic quality low? For these reasons:

1. From the Chinese perspective, Iran has a challenge with America. This challenge will cause a clash between China and America, it will cause sanctions on Iran, and Iran's sanctions will prevent serious cooperation between China and Iran.

2. Iran faces challenges with the countries of the Persian Gulf and the countries of the Middle East and it is not possible to establish a stable relationship with it.

3. Iran is unpredictable in the political field. Iran's decisions are different and multi-vocal. The Chinese cannot settle their relations with us on the basis of one vote.
