In response to IRNA;
Iraqi: We hope that fairness will be preserved in the final statement of the cooperation organization / We may state openly that we do not accept the decision.
๐น Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Irakchi, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Cooperation Organization, in response to an IRNA reporter's question about the final statement and decisions approved at this meeting and whether the interests and positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the issues of the Islamic world, including Yemen, are reflected in Yemen? said:
๐น Now that I am talking to you, the decisions have not yet been approved and the writing of the final statement has not been completed. My colleagues have been trying since the last few days to reflect the views of the Islamic Republic of Iran in decisions. Almost all decisions, except for some cases, are repeats of last year's decisions.
๐น There were serious discussions about Yemen at this summit. The Saudi side presented its positions and we also stated our positions. Other countries have also expressed their opinions. They asked to approve a decision on this matter, which has not yet been finally decided.
