The UN has called for much more severe measures to stop the war in Sudan

Rosemary DiCarlo, UN Deputy Secretary-General for Political and Peace Affairs, called for much more severe measures to end the war in Sudan at the Security Council meeting and said: We must take practical steps that can reduce the violence and save human lives and reduce the suffering of civilians.
