If the road is neglected for a moment, we will have a traffic crisis.
Sardar Mosaweifor, head of Tehran's traffic police, said in an interview with IRNA:
There is no proportionality between police equipment and the number of cars, motorcycles, and road capacity.
Every day we have a traffic management crisis, and if we neglect it for a moment, it turns into a crisis especially in the afternoons in the northern areas.
๐น The physical presence of the police should gradually decrease and increase monitoring systems.
We have 5,500 intersections, 10,500 kilometers of roads, and more than 1,000 kilometers of highways.
๐น We must move towards road control at all times and beyond rational traffic management.
