Tokyo summoned the Russian ambassador after the arrest of a Japanese journalist on espionage charges

Kyodo News Agency: Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi announced today in the country's parliament that Tokyo has requested immediate information from Moscow on the reports related to the arrest of a Japanese journalist on charges of espionage in the Sakhalin region located in the far east of Russia.
