Head of a tax affairs organization: State tax revenues increased by 56% in the first half of the year in a situation where tax revenues have now become the backbone of the state budget and provide approximately 70% of current expenditures and over 50% of the government's public resources, the performance of the tax system in the first 6 months of the year indicates a successful move in the direction of financial intelligence and discipline. Despite the country's special economic conditions and recent challenges, the government has been able to support economic actors and influence businesses by adopting a balanced approach while providing the necessary resources. In this context, by extending the deadline for legal allocations and easing the regulations for the affected sectors, not only was there no pressure on the productive businesses, but the collection process also remained in its logical circle. From the analysis of the statistical data of the first 6 months of the year, it appears that 38.2% of the annual forecasts have been realized, which corresponds to the historical trend of 35-40% in recent years. In this period of time, the government managed to collect 176 thousand billion tomans in tax revenues, which registered a significant growth of 56% compared to the corresponding period last year. The positive effects of this income stream are not limited to the government coffers, and a large part of it directly served the municipal administration and public welfare. In the first 6 months of this year, the government deposited 285 thousand billion tomans from value added taxes into the accounts of municipalities and villages throughout the country. A more detailed examination of these allocations shows the remarkable growth of financial support from service providers; So the share of the added value of the municipalities and rural districts grew by 82% and the specific share of health, sports and youth and education grew by 93% compared to last year. These data show that the education of the tax system was able to provide a stable source for the development of local infrastructures and the strengthening of public services while providing the current budget for the state.
