Government spokesman: The government's effort is to provide the country's foreign exchange resources to import basic products. In the current situation, all the issues and projects that are not in the country's essential priorities have somehow been stopped. For this matter, the granting of licenses related to the import of cars, including vans and other cars, has been stopped, even in cases where the imports are carried out by Iranians living abroad, considering the conditions that exist in the country. This stop was made as part of the president's order. As of today, all of the government's efforts are focused on the fact that the country's foreign exchange resources are dedicated to the supply and import of basic products; goods whose supply is important for maintaining economic stability, the dynamism of the country's economy and meeting the vital needs of the people. This policy is carried out with the aim of optimal management of foreign exchange resources and the provision of the country's main priorities.
