Fata Alburz Police Chief: Do not hand over gold to unknown buyers

Police Chief Fata Alborz warned against the new way to defraud gold sellers, saying: Fraudsters may involve sellers in financial problems and lawsuits by presenting themselves as gold buyers and using hacked bank accounts or those belonging to other people.

In some of the fraud methods, profit seekers present themselves as gold buyers and without physical presence and verification, they ask the seller to send them the gold or hand it over to middlemen.
