Defense Minister Mehrad Aholi's proposal:

The sanctions did not hinder production in the field of defense/we seriously strive to strengthen the air defense

🔹 The Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support, Mehrad Ahlik, presented his plans for the management of this ministry at the Salmi Council meeting.

Referring to the country's long-term sanctions, he said: Iran has been under sanctions for 47 years, but have these sanctions reduced the resilience of the Iranian nation to zero? Also, we produced equipment and provided missile support under sanctions, and we have no particular problem in carrying out the missions of the militant forces.

Also, referring to the state of air defense in the country, Achalagi noted: We are seriously dealing with the issue of strengthening air defense through the General Staff of the Armed Forces and monitoring the allocation of budgets, and we hope that during this period more attention will be paid to this field.
