Iran's ambassador to the Vatican: Rubio's words against Iranian civilization stem from ignorance and prejudice

Dr. Mohammad Hossein Mokhtari, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Vatican, considered the anti-Iranian statements of "Marco Rubio" in Athens as arising from ignorance and prejudice and made it clear that the history of human civilizations is not the domain of political fantasies and the cultural heritage of Iran cannot be denied with a superficial cultural claim.

Emphasizing the historical and spiritual position of the Iranian civilization, the ambassador of our country said: The ancient civilization of Iran has a prominent and historical position in the books of Jerusalem. In the Old Testament, Cyrus the Great, the king of Iran, was presented as Christ the Lord and chosen to fulfill God's will. The books of Ezra, Daniel and Esther also mention the kings of Iran, the glory of the Persian Empire and their role in the fate of nations. In Avesta, Iran's spiritual heritage is based on truth, wisdom, good thinking and fighting lies and filth.
