In recent years, artificial intelligence has become one of the most important tools for searching for new materials, but relying on data alone has limitations.

Now a new framework titled "material physics-based artificial intelligence" tries to bring the basic knowledge of physics in a structured way into the matter discovery process, so that AI predictions become more interpretable, testable and reliable.
