America releases 4 million barrels of oil from its strategic reserves
To compensate for the disturbances caused by the storm "Isias" in the southeast of the country, the United States agreed to release up to four million barrels of crude oil from its strategic reserves.
๐น Chris Wright, the country's energy minister, announced that as part of the "emergency compensation" program, ExxonMobil and BP America can each receive up to 2 million barrels of oil in order to "help continue the operations of the refineries."
