Following the ground attack on the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and the publication of reports on the tightening of security measures, the Turkish and Kuwaiti airlines canceled their flights to the Saudi capital.

At the same time, Germany, Canada and Spain warned their citizens against traveling through this airport.
