Politics: The European Union will face a severe shortage of gas this winter

In a report citing data from the American Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA), Politico magazine wrote: EU member states may face a shortage of up to 14 billion cubic meters of natural gas this coming winter, equivalent to about 7% of their annual demand.
