Dr. Pazheshkian's trip to Turkmenistan at a glance

Dr. Massoud Pazhkian went on a two-day trip to Turkmenistan in order to participate in the two summits of the Commonwealth of Nations and the extraordinary summit of the Caspian Sea basin, and in a speech at these meetings he explained the views and positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the development of economic and multilateral cooperation. He also discussed the expansion of bilateral relations and regional and international cooperation in meetings with officials of various countries including Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. The meeting with the Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was another part of the President's plan during this two-day trip.
