Dr. Pezeshkian: Expanding cooperation and strengthening trust and empathy are the basis for developing relations between the two countries
In his meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Iranian President Pezeshkian emphasized the capacity for broad cooperation between the two countries, strengthening bilateral interactions, mutual trust, and developing relations in all fields.
Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met and talked with Mr. Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, on the sidelines of the CIS summit and the Caspian Environment summit in Turkmenistan.
In this meeting, Dr. Pezeshkian emphasized the huge capacities for the development of bilateral cooperation and stated: There are many areas for cooperation between Iran and Armenia and we hope that the relations between the two countries will expand in all fields. Referring to the neighborhood of the two countries and the need to strengthen joint interactions, the President stated: Iran and Armenia as two neighboring countries should be able to interact and cooperate with each other in various fields.
๐น Furthermore, Dr. Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of coordination, cooperation, and continuity of communication between the two countries, noting: The more we increase coordination and cooperation, the ground will be created for strengthening mutual trust, deepening empathy, and strengthening bilateral relations.
๐น The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran further emphasized the need to maintain stability in bilateral relations and announced the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to develop cooperation with Armenia in various fields.
